Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) — A finishing building materials exhibition for rural construction was held in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK on April 10.

The municipality has directed efforts to increasing the proportion of domestically produced finishing building materials and improving their quality and output on the basis of the successes and experience gained in the last year’s rural housing construction.

Presented to the exhibition were various kinds of furnishings and building materials produced by the finishing building materials producing units in the municipality with locally available raw materials and resources.

Highly appreciated were acrylic painting, heat-reserving block and sanitary ware presented by the municipal distemper production station and the building materials battalion under the construction brigade of Kangso District.

The daily necessities factories in Onchon and Ryonggang counties presented plastic tubes of various sizes, metal fixtures and other goods.

So Chang Ryol, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials of the municipality went round the exhibition hall to discuss the issues arising in producing many more building materials with new forms, quality and functions by applying advanced technology.
