Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) — The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a letter of thanks from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on April 14.

The letter noted that they received with great excitement and joy the huge educational aid fund and stipends amounting to 316.36 million yen in Japanese currency, sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un for the democratic national education of the children of Korean residents in Japan on the occasion of the auspicious April holiday.

The educational aid fund and stipends give confidence in victory and courage to all the Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan who are putting spurs to the patriotic movement to brilliantly decorate the 26th Congress of Chongryon, which will proudly declare the start of a new struggle period for the 80th anniversary of its formation, as one of loyalty, patriotism and unity, it said.

The letter said that they extend the highest glory and the warmest gratitude to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who has repeatedly shown great benevolence for the children of Koreans in Japan, although he is very busy making devoted efforts without a moment’s rest to reliably defend the dignity, destiny and future of the country and its people and bring the great happiness to them.

It added: With the precious money sent for the children of Korean compatriots in Japan as the life-giving water, we will develop the democratic national education into the one responsible for the future of the movement of Koreans in Japan and the one to which the compatriots can leave their children at ease, as intended by the respected Marshal.

The letter wished the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un good health, reflecting the intense loyalty and reverence of all the Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan.
