Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders

 

 

Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) — Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students in the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in different parts of the country to pay tribute to them on the occasion of the auspicious April holiday.

Laid at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were flower baskets in the name of the Party, government and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces, and institutions and industrial establishments at all levels in Pyongyang.

Looking back upon with deep emotion the noble revolutionary careers of the peerlessly great men, who regarded it as their lifelong motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and made ceaseless journey of devotion for the people to perform undying feats for the country and the revolution, the times and history, the visitors paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

Flower baskets in the name of institutions, enterprises, units of the KPA and the PSF and others were placed at the statues of the great leaders in different parts of the capital city including Kim Il Sung University and the Mansudae Art Studio.

Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students across the country visited the statues of the great leaders in their residential areas to pay high tribute to them.
