
Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) — Talks between Pang Tu Sop, minister of Public Security of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and Vladimir Kolokoltev, minister of Interior of the Russian Federation, were held at the Pyongyang Assembly Hall on April 21.
Present there from the DPRK side were Kim Song Nam, vice-minister of Public Security, and officials concerned and from the Russian side were members of the delegation of the Ministry of Interior of the Russian Federation and Vladimir Topeha, charge d’affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy here.
At the talks, both sides exchanged the successes and experience gained by the public security and interior service organizations of the two countries in the field of law enforcement and discussed in depth the issues of expanding and developing exchange and cooperation.
The talks proceeded in a comradely and friendly atmosphere.
At the end of the talks, a 2026-2027 plan for exchanging delegations was signed between the Ministry of Public Security of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Interior of the Russian Federation.
The Ministry of Public Security of the DPRK gave a reception in welcome of the Russian delegation that evening.
