Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) — Working-level talks involving different sectors were held at Myongsasimni Hotel in the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area on April 22 to boost exchange and cooperation between the DPRK and the Russian Federation.

Kim Tu Won, minister of Public Health of the DPRK, met with Mikhail Murashuko, minister of Health of the Russian Federation, and Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations who is chairman of the DPRK side to the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, met with Alexandr Kozlov, minister of Natural Resources and Ecology who is chairman of the Russian side to the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology.

Discussed in detail at the meetings and talks were immediate matters for exchange and cooperation including the issue of successfully completing the construction of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Hospital to be an icon of friendship and unity between the peoples of the two countries.

That evening the DPRK government hosted a reception on the occasion of the start of the construction of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Hospital.
