Sci-tech Measures Taken to Boost Production in Chemical Industrial Sector of DPRK

 

Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) — According to Minju Joson, the chemical industrial sector of the DPRK is taking sci-tech measures for keeping the production of chemical goods going on a high level.

The Ministry of Chemical Industry is making preparations for solving in a scientific and technological way the primary elements and factors arising in the application of the catalysts which were experimentally produced at the catalyst production bases for nitrogenous fertilizer newly built at the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex and the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex.

It is also pushing ahead with the work to introduce new alloy plating technology into the relevant process of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex.

The ministry is leading the technicians to play a key role in introducing new technology into the production process of sodium carbonate of the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex.

It is paying attention to ensuring that the work for further improving the quality of various kinds of chemical goods of the Songyong Paint Factory is conducted on a scientific and technological basis.
