Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) — The Sunchon Thermal Power Plant boosts the electricity production by dint of science and technology.

The plant is taking positive measures to enhance the role of the technical forces including the April 15 Technical Innovation Shock Brigade so that they can put forward rational methods of equipment management.

While listing all the scientific and technological talents and appointing them to the right places, it has improved the technical and skill levels of employees in a methodological way and introduced innovation proposals for the normal management of equipment in time. In the course, it technically remodeled the defective measuring equipment of the power system to considerably raise the efficiency of power generation.

It installed stabilizing devices in the control panel and switchboard and completed technical upgrading of dozens of objects, thus providing another material and technical guarantee for increasing the power production.

Its workers are steadily updating the technical and economic indices of the power production system.
