Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) — Vladimir Topekha, charge d’affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy here, hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on June 11 to mark the national day of the Russian Federation.

Present there on invitation were Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations of the DPRK, An Hyon Min, vice department director of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned and members of the diplomatic corps here.

Staff members of the Russian embassy were on hand.

Speeches were made at the reception.

The participants toasted the good health of Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the good health of Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, and the steady development of the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of the DPRK and Russia.

Earlier, the Russian consulate general in Chongjin hosted a reception on the same occasion.
