Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) — A project to improve the educational conditions and environment is gaining momentum in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
Officials of the Party and power organs in Pothonggang District provided Kyonghung Senior Middle School with materials necessary for laying artificial turfs on its play ground.
The educators of Kim Ju Hyok Senior Middle School in Mangyongdae District spruced up foreign language study halls in a peculiar way and displayed vocabularies, expressions and everyday words in different parts of the school, thus setting an example in creating the environment and conditions favorable for studying foreign languages.
Officials of the Sosong District Public Prosecutors Office and the Sosong District Industrial Goods Management Office provided Sangsin and Namgyo senior middle schools in the district with enough equipment and facilities including computers, LCD TVs and projectors needed at labs. They are now making sincere efforts to afford the convenience of teachers in their life.
Officials and supporters’ organizations in Moranbong District have striven to strengthen the material foundations at educational units while rendering active assistance to the remodeling of buildings and gymnasium at Inhung Senior Middle School.
Songyo, Tongdaewon, Taedonggang and other districts, too, are providing schools, kindergartens and teachers’ retraining institutes in the districts with materials and educational apparatuses necessary for improving their educational conditions and environment.
