Schoolchildren Climb Mt Paektu

Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) — Schoolchildren from across the DPRK are making a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, the sacred mountain of the revolution.

They climbed the top of Mt Paektu on June 14 by accelerating the march, recalling the immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung, who accomplished the historic cause of national liberation through the bloody anti-Japanese struggle, and the mental world of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners, who recorded the first page of the history of the Korean revolution with victory.

Looking at the vast sea of trees associated with the everlasting history of resistance, they were full of the enthusiasm to remain faithful to the ideology and leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un by carrying forward the indomitable soul and fighting spirit of the forerunners.

The song “We Are Koreans” sung by them echoed throughout the mountains.

Earlier, they toured the Chongbong Bivouac and the Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site.

They are going on their march.
