Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) — According to Rodong Sinmun, more than 170 units won the title of model technical innovation unit in July, making clear achievements in boosting their own sci-tech forces and introducing advanced science and technology.

This is an increase of dozens of units over the same period of last year.

This year the number of model technical innovation units has increased to more than 340.

Fifteen units, which have dynamically conducted the mass technological innovation movement, entered the ranks of thrice model technical innovation units and over 60 units, which have introduced valuable technical innovation proposals into production and management activities to lay scientific and technological foundations and boosted production, won the title of twice model technical innovation unit.

In addition, one hundred and tens of units have become model technical innovation units.
