Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) — Organizations of Koreans in China organized events on August 14 and 15 on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
Placed at the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin of China were flower baskets in the name of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China and the family of Hwang Paek Ha, a Korean in China related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.
Officials of the headquarters of the General Association of Koreans in China and citizens affiliated with the Shenyang City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China laid bouquets before the picture of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the DPRK mission in Shenyang, China and paid tribute to him.
Videos dealing with the anti-Japanese revolutionary exploits of the President were screened at the meeting room of the headquarters of the General Association of Koreans in China.
Present there were officials of the headquarters of the General Association of Koreans in China and citizens affiliated with the Shenyang City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China.
First Vice-chairman Ri Sun Nam praised the President as a legendary hero and peerlessly great man who defeated the Japanese imperialists’ million-strong army to liberate the country and built an invincible socialist power independent, self-supporting and self-reliant in defence.
Ri noted that our country liberated by the President and glorified by Chairman Kim Jong Il is now demonstrating its might as the most powerful and invincible politico-ideological, military and nuclear power in the world under the leadership of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, the peerlessly great man.
