Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) — The Lao embassy here hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on Dec. 1 on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Present there on invitation were Kang Yun Sok, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee who is also chairman of the DPRK-Laos Friendship Association, officials concerned and members of the diplomatic corps here.

Keo Mackhaphon, Lao ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy members attended the reception.

Speeches were made there.
