Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) — South Hamgyong Province in the DPRK is directing efforts to improving rivers and streams, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The province dredged one hundred and tens of kilometers-long reaches of rivers and streams to take out more than one million cubic meters of sludge and carried out embankment projects.

It is going on with the river improvement projects, introducing the experience of the exemplary units on several occasions and rectifying deviations.
