Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) — The Hydraulic Engineering Research Institute under the State Academy of Sciences of the DPRK has built a model experiment technological process for putting on a scientific basis the manufacturing and operation of an impulse turbine for hydroelectric power generation.

While consolidating the success, the institute is carrying on a research campaign for solving technical problems arising in improving the efficiency and operation stability of various kinds of turbines.
