Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) — The Vinalon Institute under the Hamhung Branch of the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK developed a new energy-saving technology for concentrating sugar solution, according to Rodong Sinmun.

Thanks to the introduction of this advanced concentration technology, the sugar solution production line has been turned into an energy-saving one, making it possible to save a lot of electricity and improve the productivity and quality of products.

The institute is now pushing ahead with a project to apply the said technology of our own style to the production lines at regional-industry factories.
