Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, sent a reply message to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, on March 12.

The message said:

Expressing thanks to you for sending me congratulations upon my re-assumption of important post as the general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea at the Ninth Congress of the WPK, I wish the Cuban party, government and people success in their struggle to overcome the hostile forces’ pressure moves and defend the sovereignty and security of the country.
