Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) — On the occasion of the auspicious April holiday, floricultural stations in Pyongyang are decorating its streets with flowers.

Working people at the Pothonggang District Floricultural Station are striving to decorate various places of the district with more than 10 kinds of flowers.

The employees of the Moranbong District Floricultural Station have decorated the flower beds and stands around the Arch of Triumph with various kinds of flowers while tending them.

Central and Sosong district floricultural stations selected flower seedlings with high ornamental value and relatively long flowering period and are taking care of their nutrition in a scientific and technological way.

The Songyo District Floricultural Station chose the places for raising flowers according to temperature conditions and is spraying nutrient solution on flowers and fertilizing them as required by technical norms.

Phyongchon and Taedonggang district floricultural stations have pushed ahead with the work to attain the stepwise goal for turning Pyongyang into a city in park full of flowers.
