Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) — The Agricultural Commission in the DPRK is striving to put the fruit farming on a scientific and intensive basis, according to Minju Joson. After working out a plan to rotate fruit trees in thousands of hectares this year, it has intensified the economic organization and technical guidance for its implementation.
Attention is being paid to increasing the dense cultivation area of high-yielding fruit trees. It made sure that all fruit production units give precedence to the preparations for high-yielding saplings under the plan for rotating fruit trees before the spring tree planting period.
Efforts are directed to raising the rate of rooting by meeting the requirements of technical regulations in all the processes of planting trees.
Fruit farms in Kwail and Pukchong counties and other fruit farms in different parts of the country are carrying on their plans for rotating fruit trees as scheduled.
