Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) — Officials and workers of cement production units across the DPRK are steadily increasing the production.

The workers and technicians in charge of the main production line of the Sangwon Cement Complex have actively introduced inventions and increased the number of checking equipment more than twice as against the past period to provide a guarantee for revitalizing production.

The huge repair of the calcination system No. 2 has been qualitatively finished in a short span of time and defective elements have been removed, thus registering high production results every day.

The miners of the Sangwon Limestone Mine have increased the mineral output by applying an efficient blasting method and the Samchong Mine and the Hwachon Coal Mine have increased the proportion of mechanization and directed efforts to ensuring the normal operation of tunneling and mining equipment and vehicles.

Technicians and skilled workers of the calcination shop, cement shop, raw material shop and coal-milling shop of the Sunchon Cement Complex are closely boosting cooperation among processes and solving the technical problems arising in updating the performance of equipment and thus laying a foundation for increased production.

The Sunchon Limestone Mine, the Clay Slate Mine and Jikdong Gypsum Mine have established a system of inspecting and repairing machines and equipment and raised their operating rate to produce a lot of ore every day.

The Chonnaeri Cement Factory, Sunghori Cement Factory and other units are boosting production.
