Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) — It is the invariable ambition of the Japanese reactionaries to realize the old dream of the “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere”.

The Japanese militarists, who had never abandoned this ambition since their defeat, have escalated their moves for reinvasion of the DPRK even after the defeat of the U.S. imperialists in the Korean War in the 1950s, being obsessed with the ambition for reinvasion.

Under the patronage of the U.S., the Japanese reactionaries worked out such plans for aggression on the DPRK as “Flying Dragon Operation” and “Running Bull Operation” in the 1960s, and defined a concrete action procedure of the “Self-Defense Forces” for their involvement in the war in case the U.S. ignites the war against the DPRK.

They mapped out a comprehensive operation plan aimed at participating in the war against the DPRK in the 1970s and “exclusive defense strategy” in the 1980s and took strategic and tactical measures to cope with the war in a planned way. They also watched for an opportunity for reinvasion while actively availing themselves of the U.S.-led joint military drills.

In the 1990s the Japanese reactionaries enacted the “law to deal with contingencies in areas surrounding Japan” aimed at further expanding the sphere of military activities on the Korean peninsula, crying out for “missile threat.” In 2003 they put forward the “law on contingencies”, an actual law on wartime, and then conducted a move to provide a war constitution for legalizing their participation in war.

Japan turned the direction of bolstering up its military capability into the attack-oriented one long ago. It equipped the Maritime “Self-Defense Force” with many warships such as Aegis destroyers and light aircraft carriers and the Air “Self-Defense Force” with offensive weapons. It laid bare itself as an entity of a war state worthy of the name.

Nowadays, the Japanese reactionaries are getting frantic in their moves to expand the capability of intermediate-range missiles with new type fighters, refueling tankers and others, prompted by their ambition for igniting a new war against the DPRK.

The Japanese reactionaries are dyeing the whole land of Japan with militarist idea, while totally denying and distorting the hideous crimes they committed in the history in the past, far from making an apology and reparation for them. The reality goes to prove that the Japanese reactionaries have never changed in their ambition for reinvasion and aggressive nature and will remain unchanged forever in the future, too.

The Japanese reactionaries, an unpardonable group of gangsters and heinous criminals, are the sworn enemy of the Korean people.
