Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) — North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK directs efforts to expanding the cultivation area of industrial crops and tending them.

The area under cultivation of sugar and oil crops in the province has increased 1.2 times as compared with last year’s amid the brisk mass work to ensure a firm guarantee for developing the regional industry.

The province is intensifying the policy-oriented guidance so that all cities and counties expand their economic development spaces and consolidate the material and technical foundations of raw materials bases and increase productivity in a methodical way.

In order to build up the raw materials bases in cities and counties in a far-sighted way and increase the per-hectare outputs, officials of the Party and power organs have striven to increase the cultivation area of industrial crops and introduce advanced farming methods and supply farm machines.
