DPRK Embassy in Moscow Hosts Reception

 

Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) — The DPRK embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on September 9, the 78th founding anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Present there on invitation were Ivan Melinikov, first deputy speaker of the State Duma of Russia, and personages of the parliament, government and organizations of Russia including the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and diplomatic envoys of different countries to Russia.

DPRK Ambassador Sin Hong Chol and his embassy members were on hand.

Speeches were made at the reception.

The DPRK ambassador said that the nation-building exploits of President Kim Il Sung are shining century after century under the leadership of respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, noting that the General Secretary has valued the people most and added glory to their patriotic enthusiasm.

The first deputy speaker of the State Duma of Russia said that since the early period of the diplomatic relationship, the relations between the two countries have developed on a solid basis of friendship, good neighborliness and mutual benefits, adding that the treaty on comprehensive strategic partnership signed by President Putin and Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, opened up a new chapter of the bilateral relations.

The Russian vice-minister of Defense said that the DPRK has dynamically advanced along the road of independent development with great potential for development and the bilateral relations are further developing thanks to deep trust and friendly relations between the top leaders of the two countries. He affirmed that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and the DPRK meets the fundamental interests of the two countries and would contribute to defending regional and international security.

The vice-minister of Industry and Trade said that the relations between the two countries are the traditional and solid friendly relations carried forward since the period of the Great Patriotic War.

Meanwhile, the DPRK missions in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk of Russia hosted receptions on September 3 and 8 on the same occasion.
