The Naegohyang Team of the DPRK lifted a trophy for the first time in the 2025-2026 AFC Women’s Champions League to qualify for the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup 2027.

And DPRK women footballers came first at the 2026 AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup to qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
