Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) — Officials, service personnel, working people, youth and students in the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country to place flower baskets and flowers at them on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army.

Laid at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were flower baskets in the name of the Party, armed forces and power organs, ministries, national agencies, units of the KPA and the Public Security Forces, factories and universities.

Placed at the statues in different parts of Pyongyang, including Kim Il Sung University, were flower baskets in the name of KPA and PSF units, institutions and enterprises.

Officials, service personnel, working people, youth and students in other parts of the country visited the statues of the peerlessly great men in their residential areas to pay high tribute to them.
