Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) — The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex in the DPRK puts spurs to production, steadily increasing the operating efficiency of equipment.

The complex has conducted operations and command to revitalize production by concentrating on improving the capacity of the existing equipment and enhancing the level of technical management.

It repaired the blast furnace in a short span of time and improved operation technique to increase the output of molten iron per charge. It has also carried out without fail the production plan per shift by raising the operation rate of oxygen converter, continuous casting machine and rolling mill.
