Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) — The Kim Chaek Taesong fishery enterprise in the DPRK has more than doubled the kelp production as compared with the same period of last year.
After securing fast-growing and high-yielding species of kelps, the enterprise directed efforts to cultivating them in a scientific and technological way and took measures to ensure the safety of aquaculture facilities.
It organized scientific and technological study and demonstration so that the cultivators could learn advanced methods of kelp cultivation and, at the same time, set high demands for them to work as required by technical regulations.
It studied and introduced scientific cultivation methods to raise productivity and harvested kelps by concentrating manpower and means.
