Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) — The national industrial art exhibition for celebrating April 15 closed with due ceremony at the Industrial Art Exhibition House of the Central Industrial Art Bureau on April 30.
During the exhibition, the participants exchanged successes and experience gained in the creation of new and peculiar designs.
The mark design of the Samgwang dairy goods production base, the design of Kalma passenger line and the design of city bus were appreciated for their simplicity, concentration and symbolism.
Designs and products, presented by the Korean Industrial Art Studio, the Unha Trade Bureau, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry and other units, also drew the attention of visitors for their diverse use and improved quality indices.
Present at the closing ceremony were Kim Chang Sok, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, and officials and creators in the field of industrial art.
Diplomas and medals, as well as prizes, were awarded to the highly appreciated units and members and the April 10 Design Prize to the creators who proved successful in the creation of industrial art designs in the past one year.
