Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) — The respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un gave field guidance at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill in June 2016.

The respected Comrade General Secretary said that the fighting spirit of the great Chollima era should be invariably carried forward forever, adding that the workers of the mill should continue to glorify the proud tradition and honor of the mill.

The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill is a proud silk thread production base along with the Chollima era when world-startling miracles and innovations were created in socialist construction.

It overfulfilled its national economic plan every year during the great Chollima upswing, thus winning the titles of Chollima Workteam and Chollima Factory before others in Pyongyang Municipality.

In those days, Kil Hwak Sil, an ordinary workteam leader of the mill, became a forerunner of communist education and a labour hero known to the whole country. Thanks to her devoted efforts, her workteam became a united group helping and leading each other forward, and made innovations in production. As a result, her workteam was honored with the title of the first Chollima workteam in the mill.

The mill is still adding luster to the honor of model factory and model unit, succeeding to the fighting spirit of the Chollima era.
