Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) — The Pyongyang Musical Instrument Factory in the DPRK is making progress in modernizing equipment and improving quality by dint of science and technology.

The factory has strengthened its own technical force and turned technological innovation campaign into the one involving the masses to introduce many inventions.

By enhancing the technical skill and practical ability of workers and encouraging their initiative and ingenuity, it designed and manufactured optical fibre laser cutting machine and other necessary equipment.

At the same time, the factory manufactured and remodeled rotary plating machine and dust arrester and established additional processes for producing parts, thus saving a lot of manpower and electricity and further improving the tone quality of musical instruments.

Its technicians and workers are now striving for technical remodeling to produce more quality musical instruments.
