Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) — North Hamgyong Province in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the project to remodel Chongjin University of Medicine into a model of provincial-level universities of medicine across the country, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The frameworks of new teaching buildings and an institute of medical science and technology are being carried on in full swing and the preparations for the construction of gymnasium and the building of neighborhood-serving amenities are being made in a foresighted way.

The province is taking measures to provide cement, steel and other materials on a preferential basis, while mobilizing equipment on the construction sites of the teaching buildings and the institute so as to ensure proper process-by-process engagement.

Builders of the provincial construction company have arranged mixers, cranes and steel processing equipment in a rational way to increase their utilization.

Thanks to their efforts, a high result has been recorded in the remodeling project every day.
