Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) — Rice harvesting began at farms in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

Several farms in Yonan County set a proper harvesting order according to fields and plots and started rice harvesting.

Pongchon County has set the right time of rice harvesting for each farm on a scientific basis and harvested crops without any waste as soon as they get ripe.

Several farms in Anak County are expanding the area of rice harvesting by organizing manpower rationally in keeping with the simultaneous farming processes, including the preparations for maize harvesting and sowing of winter wheat and barley.

Farms in Jaeryong and Sinchon counties, too, have made full preparations for operating farm machines at full capacity to start rice harvesting.
