Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) — Rodong Sinmun Monday in an editorial says that the 13th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea marked an important political occasion in clearly defining the road for new progress in socialist construction and vigorously promoting the all-people advance.

It is the unshakable faith and strong will of all the Party members and other people to successfully conclude the struggle for implementing the decisions of the Eighth Party Congress and greet the Ninth Party Congress with victory and glory, rallied closer around the Party Central Committee, the editorial says, and goes on:

To greet the Ninth Party Congress as the glorious one is important political work proving once again that the ideology and policy of the WPK are science and its outstanding leadership ability is invincible.

The remarkable successes being made in the first-stage pioneering struggle for changes towards the comprehensive development of socialism are linked with the outstanding leadership of our Party.

When all sectors and units achieve more excellent results with perfect execution, the leadership authority and militant might of the WPK will be more fully demonstrated.

Greeting the Ninth Party Congress with proud labor achievements is a striking demonstration of the might of single-minded unity of all the people who are rallied around the great Party as one in mind.

It is the tradition of struggle peculiar to our people to greet significantly the Party congress, which forms a watershed in the development of our revolution, with great successes associated with painstaking efforts and inexhaustible enthusiasm.

Under the wise leadership of the Party, we have made great changes in the past five years and brought about the eye-opening development that could be hardly imagined before.
