Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) — The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK awarded a rotating pennant and a citation in their joint name to the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex which set an example in carrying out the national economic plan for 2025.

A meeting was held on April 1 to award the rotating pennant and citation.

Present there were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and officials and employees of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine.

Ju Chang Il noted in an address that the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited coal miners of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine on the day of the election of deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly to show deep love and trust for them and made sure that the coal mine, which set an example in coal production last year, was awarded the rotating pennant and citation in the joint name of the WPK Central Committee, the SPA Standing Committee and the Cabinet.

He said that the officials and employees of the coal mine should repay with higher increased production results the great trust of the General Secretary who called them “Respected comrade coal miners in Chonsong!”

The rotating pennant and citation were awarded to the coal mine at the meeting.

Exemplary labor innovators were awarded citations in the name of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea.

Then there were resolution-taking speeches.
