
Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) — A school-opening ceremony took place at the Korean Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disability on April 1.
Present there were Jon Chol Hi, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned and children, nurses, teachers and doctors of the rehabilitation centre and parents of the disabled.
At the ceremony, Song Hyang Chun, director of the rehabilitation centre, made an address to be followed by speeches.
The speakers said that the children with disability will enjoy a brighter and more cheerful life under the benefits of the grateful socialist system, expressing the resolve to fulfill their responsibility and duty in upholding the policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea for protecting the disabled.
Then the participants looked round various places of the rehabilitation centre.
