Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) — A solar power plant has been built in Haeju City, South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.
The power base, equipped with all conditions necessary for electricity production and work and life of the employees, is another material and technical foundation for the development of the regional economy and the improvement of people’s standard of living.
Its inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on April 30.
Present there were Kil Pong Chan, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, An Myong Jun, chairman of the provincial people’s committee, officials and working people in the province and employees of the power plant.
