Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) — The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex in the DPRK developed and introduced a technology for recycling slag.

Ii solved technical problems arising in extracting the necessary ingredients from slag in close cooperation with scientific research units. Therefore, the complex provided sci-tech guarantees for recycling slag, including the technology for using waste oil as a flotation reagent raw material.

With the introduction of the technology for recycling slag, the complex has obtained burned coal and raw materials for producing building materials with high utility from slag which became obstacles in production and environmental protection, thus saving the cost for removing slag and gaining great profit.
