Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) — The North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise in the DPRK completed the first-stage waterproofing project in the first section of the Aedo Tideland which connects the Ilhae area of Jongju City and the Sinbong area via Ae Islet. Now, it is stepping up the project for completing the reinforcement of embankments at over 90 percent.

When the project is finished, thousands of hectares of new arable land will be created.
