Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) — Timber production plan for January was fulfilled at the Ministry of Forestry in the DPRK.

The forestry and mine timber production stations under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau set an example in carrying out their plans by applying rational working methods suited to winter conditions.

The Kangwon Provincial Forestry Management Bureau established a planning discipline and brought about a surge in production while concentrating efforts on strengthening its own material and technical foundations.

Hochon and Sinhung mine timber production stations under the South Hamgyong Provincial Forestry Management Bureau allocated manpower rationally and carried on final transportation of timber suited to the mountainous conditions to push ahead with production as scheduled.

The Phungso Forestry Station under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau succeeded in ensuring transportation in the steep and rough logging areas. Yonam and Paekam mine timber production stations boosted production by raising the operation rate of equipment.
