Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) — The formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union was a historic declaration heralding the solemn start of the revolutionary cause of Juche. With the birth of the genuine communist revolutionary organization on October 17, 1926, the Korean revolution made a start toward the victory under the uplifted banner of independence.

Since this historic day, the Korean revolution has covered 100 years equivalent to one century. Its 100-year history is shining as a proud period in which the tradition of revolutionary unity was established and its purity preserved generation after generation under the guidance of the outstanding leaders and as a heroic epic course in which the Korean revolution has won victories by dint of single-minded unity.

The DIU formed with passionate vanguard fighters by　President Kim Il Sung was the first pure and fresh political organization of a new type in Korea and the genuine vanguard organization that gave birth to the origin of the most solid and powerful unity based on one ideology and one centre.

Thanks to the ideas and leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il, the precious tradition of unity was successfully carried forward and served as the fundamental source that made it possible to glorify the grim years of the revolution with miracles and victories.

As there is respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who put forward political philosophy and the strategy for national development on the basis of the unity, the Korean people’s single-minded unity has been further consolidated and its might fully demonstrated in the new era of the Juche revolution.

The Korean people have recorded great changes and steady miracles in the history, demonstrating the infinite latent energy united with patriotism.

As they are led by the great father who is training all the people to be builders of socialism and heroic people faithful to the country and revolution, their harmonious whole has become stronger.

The Korean people could always emerge victorious in the past, are winning at present and are sure to win in the future, too, as there is a harmonious whole, in which the leader believes the people and the latter absolutely trust and follow the former, the single-minded unity in which all the people are firmly united around the leader with one ideology and will, blood ties and moral obligation. This is the precious truth kept in the minds of all the people as their firm faith.
