Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) — Wheat and barley harvest began at farms in different parts of the DPRK.

The farms worked out their daily plans in consideration of the planted date and ripening conditions of wheat and barley and made preparations for finishing the harvest and threshing in the shortest time by giving precedence to manufacturing grain dryers and repairing grain drying grounds.

They are raising the operation rate of tractors, various kinds of harvesters and other farm machines.

In order to make sure that the crop yield estimate leads to the actual harvest, they properly set the order of work and have carried out their daily plans without fail while ensuring proper process-by-process engagement such as cutting and hauling.

They are ensuring both the speed and quality in harvesting.
