Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) — Young people in Ryanggang Province of the DPRK have volunteered to work at difficult and labor-consuming posts of socialist construction.

A discharged soldier in Kim Hyong Gwon County requested the youth league organization to send him to the county construction brigade.

Youths in Kapsan County and Hyesan City vowed to work at regional raw materials base stations and coal mines.

Those in Paegam and Unhung counties petitioned to work at workteams for maintaining roads over mountains.

A meeting was held in Hyesan City on June 15 to congratulate the volunteers, with the attendance of officials concerned, officials of the youth league, youth and students.

Petition certificates were awarded to the volunteers and a congratulatory speech and resolution-making speeches were made there.

After a congratulatory performance, officials and youth and students saw off the volunteers leaving for their new revolutionary posts.
