Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) — According to Rodong Sinmun, many educational units in the general education sector of the DPRK have created new beneficial and advantageous teaching methods to contribute to educational practice.

Mangyongdae Revolutionary School created four new teaching methods and generalized them across the country.

Changdok School developed an enlightenment-oriented teaching method, which encourages the students to visit factories or enterprises related to the contents of the next lessons during their after-school hours and conceive, design and implement the most realistic and rational experimental plans so that they can theoretically understand the contents of education, thus consolidating the foundation for training creative and practical talents.

New teaching methods were also invented by Chilgol Revolutionary School, Moranbong Secondary School No. 1, Haeun Junior Middle School in Phyongchon District, Sohung Primary School in Moranbong District affiliated to Pyongyang Teachers Training College and Changjon Primary School in Central District.

Among them are new teaching methods for systematically improving the students’ foreign language skills.
