Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) — Fishery units across the DPRK are raising the scientific level of aquaculture.

Employees of the Pupho Offshore Farm have boosted production while putting the farming on a scientific basis. The farm set a reasonable time for advance into the sea and has raised the operation rate of tugboats to harvest hundreds of tons of kelp every day.

Employees of the Ongjin Offshore Farm have increased the kelp production through scientific cultivation.

The Kumipho Fishery Station, too, is making innovations in the seaweed production based on scientific cultivation.
